The Ink is Dry...
...and the tattered pages of his journal have been painstakingly sorted from his room at the Inkwell Inn. The Archivist responsible for this task has officially transcribed Alaric's Journals Volume 1 and is readying it for public reading.
For those who have been following my social media, you already know about Alaric's Journals. Alaric wrote his diaries well into his 80s, chronicling his journey from the Citadel's grand halls to his historical notes on events occurring over eight centuries ago. Volume 1 brings the first cohesive arc of those recovered writings out of the past and into the present
10-Day Serialisation
Beginning shortly, the recovered pages of Volume 1 will roll out right here on the site. It will be serialised with:
- 20 entries in total.
- Dropping twice a day on an automated schedule.
- Spanning a 10-day run.
If you enjoy serialised novels, and checking sites like clockwork to see what new pages have been released, you can follow the entire release, entry by entry, for free.
Volume 1 Compendium
Of course, for those who prefer not to wait out the daily serialisation, the complete Volume 1 novel will be available for purchase. Payment goes through PayPal, after which you'll receive a direct, instant download, and the full recovered volume to read at your own pace.
Once all the volumes in the series have been released, a full compendium will be released, with all of the scribe's journal entries intact, plus dramatis personae, background lore, and more information about the world Alaric lived in.
